KCC Candidate for Wilmington

I am delighted to have been selected as the candidate for the Wilmington community. I love this area and have a very strong desire to protect it.

I have lived in the area for nearly 50 years and I have been a local councillor for 30 years. I recently sat as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Kent County Council.  

​

I am passionate about community and youth projects, as a member of the Children's, Young People and Education committee. In recent years I have focused on school safety in Wilmington and worked with local groups to create safer routes to schools.

​

As a village community, the safeguarding of green spaces and green belt is a huge priority.  I am proud of the open spaces we have nearby and want to keep them for the community to use.
