On Thursday night members in Greenhithe re-adopted Cllr Keith Kelly and Cllr David Mote as prospective candidates in Greenhithe in the 2015 local elections. Cllrs Kelly and Mote have represented Greenhithe since being elected in 2011.
Cllr Mote commented: "It is a great honour to be selected once again to stand as a prospective candidate for Dartford's Greenhithe ward. The area around Greenhithe will be undergoing great change over the next decade and we want to be in a position to ensure residents can influence the what, where, when and how that change happens. Since becoming a councillor I have had the opportunity to work with people and groups who want to make sure Greenhithe has the voice it deserves. Whatever the result of the election I will continue to work with these people - but being a councillor does provide a invaluable perspective to what is happening in and around Dartford."
Maria Kelly was also selected to contest Greenhithe in 2015.
